Here's the happy couple!
In case you didn't know Jack and Sharon . . .
Those of us who knew Jack and Sharon all knew how much the couple loved to go on cruises.
"The world's a big and interesting place -- why waste it all in just Oklahoma?"

Such a shayna punim!

The late Meyer Sobol (1911- 1994)
May his memory be a blessing.
Only children are often spoiled. (And yes, our Sharon was!)
We love this pic!
Bubbeh and Zayde Sobol escaped Czarist Russia and emigrated to the United States.
They ended up in southeastern Oklahoma, and a town ultimately named for them (i.e., Sobol, Oklahoma) is still there even now.
University of Oklahoma graduate
Sharon was a star pupil, and majored in Education.
She went on to become a vocal and hard working advocate for the O.E.A.
Over the years . . .
Meyer and Idell had no sons, but sponsored countless boys during their Bar Mitzvahs.
Jack and Sharon married at Emmanuel Synagogue in 1965. (Wasn't she a blushing bride!)
QUITE THE HOMEMAKER!
Sharon won a great many cooking awards over the years.
Here she's pictured in 1974 with one of her prize-winning noodle kugels.
And Mama makes three!
Idell traveled extensively with Jack and Sharon, and Bernadette the cat was never far behind.
Each year we received a Hanukkah card from Jack, Sharon, and Bernadette.
(And yes, each year Bernadette's outfit was different. You could always make bank on THAT.)
Poor Bernie . . .
Here's a shot from a Baltic cruise.
I'm pretty sure that this snapshot was taken in Danzig in 2015 -- right before Sharon's dementia became quite noticeable.
Jack in Lithuania
The last cruise -- yup.
We found this pic on a memory card as we prepped the estate sale.
Always up for a laugh!
Here's Sharon mugging it up in Vilnius on her very last cruise.
The last formal dinner
On the very last cruise . . .
We still miss him.
(Yup, pipe smoke and all.)
In loving memory
There will be a Yahrzeit shelf for you to visit just off the living room.
